Before I entered Howard in January 1997, I did some volunteer work, campaign work around Ohio. I also came to Washington. I volunteered for Clintons campaign. I did the conventions. I was doing freelance stuff between Cincinnati and Washington, D.C.
I had a cute little apartment in Cincinnati, and I had a fire and lost everything. Even the Red Cross came out. That was the time I really transitioned to Washington. It was like, Let me get out of here.
I was dating someone who was a journalist. Im not going to tell who. He helped me get freelance jobs in Washington.
I got the job at the White House right out of Howard. Talk about a gig. My first sit-down job, I was 23, young, and I got the job right out of my masters program.
I came to the White House just as the [Monica] Lewinsky scandal was breaking. I was in the midst of a pretty stressful situation. It was pretty tough being in the White House at that time.
The process for going on The Apprentice is quick. I sent my tape in on a Sunday, and they called me Thursday. A couple weeks later, I was sitting in L.A. in front of a producer. Once they told me I was in, I was packing up my life and leaving for two months. Im married, so it made things tough.
It was surprising how quickly they wanted me. My application was nothing spectacular. I just talked about Omarosa. They said, Show us, dont tell us. I walked around the Howard campus. I walked in front of the White House. My secret was just really presenting who I am.
Im still close to people from the show, like Bill, Sammy, Troy, Kwame. We talk everyday; we all make a point to get together as much as we possibly can. But I dont miss being in that cage at all.
Anybody that comes off these reality shows all say the same thing: that character was created somewhere in the producers head. Anybody that comes to me and says I was tough on the show, I always ask, How long have you been watching reality television?
Trump was just Trump. I had read every book the man wrote. He was really funny and witty and charismatic. You dont get all of that from the show.
We asked about his hair so often, he actually told us that its a part of his trademark. He sees it as a good-luck charm. Theres so much more there than his hair.
I thought I was going to be fired long before I was fired. The only thing I was upset about was my injury. Other than that, I knew it was coming. You get a sense of these things. You cant survive on these shows when everyone is gunning for you.
The show has changed my life. Ive got a book deal, a TV deal. I have a role in a sitcom. People think Im funny. Who knew? The role is actually very much like me, a fun, educated woman whos married to a really conservative dentist. Im shooting the pilot tomorrow.
Im so used to planning other peoples schedules. Now that I am kind of out there, Im kind of like, Wheres my advance team? I need a scheduler. Its overwhelming. I have almost a million hits to my website. I get hundreds of e-mails. Ive done Regis, Conan, The View you name it, Ive been on it. I did the Today show and Jay Leno on the same day.
Regis managed to keep Kelly from bashing me. I spent the whole time on Conan simply laughing.
I do have my eyes set on running for Congress and eventually the White House. I sat in the White House and watched leaders make decisions. Im thinking, if they can do it, so can I.
Theres a restriction in my contract that doesnt let me run until one year after the show. As soon as that is lifted, Ill seriously start to form my exploratory committee.
Does she actually have any of these things, or are these items as made-up as her N-Bomb charge?

Judging from the way she took responsibilities on "The Apprentice," I'd say that it was affirmative action in action. She couln't work with people and she couldn't perform responsibly.
I would hate to have her in a position of authority in my company.
What a witch.

Omarosa will make a good liberal politician. The fact that she lies, cheats and steals was clearly shown on The Apprentice."
Trumps last line on the last show said it best. He was talking about the cast and said, "These are good people ... for the most part."
