Kerry killed a Viet Cong fighter in an action his superiors deemed appropriate and for which he was awarded the Silver Star....Which, conveniently, no one witnessed but Kerry. The guy'd evidently been hit by a .50, and so was no longer likely a threat. I strongly suspect that Kerry murdered him. Let him deny it. How did the enemy resist?
The only reason I can think of for this statement to have been included here is to say, See! Kerry doesn't REALLY like the Viet Cong. He killed one of them.
