President Bush attended the Congressional Medal of Honor ceremony for Women's rights champion and civil rights leader Dr. Dorothy Height, who is 92 years old today. She served more than 30 years as the president of the National Council of Negro Women, an organization dedicating to uplifting black women and their communities.

President Bush spoke at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

He accepted Jacques Chirac's invitation to go to Paris on June 5.

Not sure there is any such thing as a "closed Session" if dems are present. I don't trust them.

Mystery, I'm going to email the white house. That is beyond rotten for the Germans to be protesting our troops. They deserve better when they come home.

President Bush or Colin Powell could say something in protest to the German government. At the very least they should completely remove our bases from Germany. Let their economy sink in the mire! Rumsfeld would be livid if he knew this.

I hope some of our dose regulars can write or email about the subject. Something can and should be done about this!
Foxnews ought to do a story about this too. Oliver North or Hannity, something.

I have two questions and a comment. First, did Mr. Bush ok the commission hearings on 9-11, second, who picked the senators on the panel?
Comment: I believe this hearing has damaged Bush's credibility on the war. He should have NEVER ok those hearings, NEVER, no matter how much the RATS pressured him! He was set up by the RATS! Unfortunately the prez took the bait and now the damage has been done and there is no way to fix it! I've been watching to see if the media reports on the letter and audio on Clarke but to no avail! This is a TREMENDOUS win for the RATS. Bush's legacy is on the line here and you can bet the historians will have many quotes on the hearing BLAMING bush for everything! I thought the hearings were going to somehow show that kkklinton's inactions were the results of 9-11, but instead bush got the blame even though he was 8 months into his presidency when 9-11 happen. OUTRAGEOUS! Unfortunately the sheeple has swallowed the WHOLE lie, line, hook, and sinker! I think, for sake of health, will not watch the news for the next 7 months!

Hi Ms.B!

Are you still here?

I just got back from teaching a Lamaze class. It was 70+ degrees here today--spring has sprung! I have soooooo much yard work to do. But I love it . . . for about 1/2 hr. Then I swear my next "yard" will be 10 ft. square, grass only, no trees or bushes . . . . or ALL flowers and bushes but no trees . . . no leaves to rake, no grass to cut . . .

Hope you had a good day!

You know, you're being really subtle and low key about it, but with my superior "people" skills, I'm beginning to sense that you really like our President!!!! Am I correct???

***I hope everyone had a chance to watch the President's 'slideshow' at the Radio/TV Corespondents Dinner ***

Whose show was it on? He does have a wicked sense of humor. Why people hate him so much, I'll never know.

***How he can look relaxed and deliver a humorous presentation amid all these assaults on himself and his great team I'm sure I don't know.***

He's on the right team, and that would be God's team.

I'm not sure, but I thought he OK'd it AND picked the senators, but I sure could be wrong at that. I do not know . . . I'm sure someone here does.

I did not watch much today, or yesterday. It does make me positively ill to see how people treat our President with such disrespect. I hope the people--the general public--is smart enough to realize what's going on, but for the most part they have to learn to think for themselves, first.

I do think the Bush Admin. has it under control. The Rats are such blatant liars, and there is so much proof about . . . well, about anything they've done that's immoral, illegal, a lie, etc. I think the truth WILL come out. It sure is hard to watch this happen, tho. It hurts my heart to see fine people criticized and lied about, and the scummy people raised up.

I have to continue to believe that God is in control. He knows what is happening, and what will happen. I pray every day that George W. Bush will be re-elected President. If that is God's will, it will happen. If He has a different plan, well . . . it's gonna be really bad for us for awhile. I have to believe that God is in control; He may not LIKE what is happening, but nothing happens without His allowing it to happen.

I don't mean this to sound like a sermon, but it's all that brings me any sort of peace whatsoever, both in my personal life and on a much bigger scale.

Hey there! I wondered if you would drop by tonight. Yes you are right about God's team. The President is amazing.

BTW your Nebraska Senator Kerrey got under a lot of people's skins today!! :^D

I had to tease you about having a RAT senator because my esteemed "home" state (which will probably truly never feel like home) has the Usually DisHonorable Senator Dick Durbin. Every bit as bad as Kerrey.

I was totally disappointed in Kerrey actually becuase yesterday he seemed to be the only person on that sham circus of a 9-11 committee to really be interested in holding some feet to the fire in getting answers to questions. Today, it was like somebody inserted 10 Thorazine suppositories. A complete 180 from where he was yesterday, he never gave anybody much of a hard time, especially Clarke. growl!!!

DemonRAT clymers. LOL!

Glad you had a good day!

Your dad's well enough to go out (at least today?) That's wonderful! I bet he enjoyed the fresh air. We're going to be in the 70's the rest of the week. But I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be one more snowstorm . . .

HI Prairie!

I was teaching a Lamaze class. One of my favorite things to do. I don't think anyone would blame the President if he just said "heck with it" and went back to Crawford. He is answering a calling.

Kerry really made me mad today. Just spouting and spouting and spouting. And I don't like his haircut either.

Are there more hearings tomorrow? I thought Clinton was supposed to be questioned . . .

Mystery, doug from upland said he could probably get the story on the radio if you could call in. Is there any chance you might be interested in doing that?
It would be a great thread if you could post it. It would have more authority coming from you. I'd try to if it was all right with you.
It just outrages me that those Krauts are messing with our troops in Germany!

Mystery, I hope you'll do this for Mike and Eric and all the troops . . . you'd be great, and people should know about this story . . .

BTW--what is from Germany that I should be boycotting? I don't drink any imported wine, but sometimes it's not easy to tell the country of origin . . .

Gosh no! I don't think the collective blood pressure of FR could take another day LOLOL!!!! I know mine couldn't.

I think that Clintoon and the real POTUS, President George W. Bush, either have or will testify to the committee in closed session. Just like Condi Rice did in a perfectly acceptable protocol, except they must have whined about it, to be sure it was put in the record, at least 15 different times. Maybe even 20.

I couldn't bear to watch either Clintoon or President Bush being questioned. President Bush because they would be so nasty to him and Clintoon because he would lie openly and they wouldn't ask him anything but softball questions anyway.

In fact, Clintoon has already lied under oath once. What makes them think he will do any differnt this time?.....

Getting sleepy all, good night!
