Both Christians and Jews found this film very offensive.

I like Monty Python, and their comedy/satire has its place. Sometimes it's clever, sometimes it's just shock value.

This film will be lucky to make 3% of what The Passion made at the box office.

Brian of Nazareth, a Jew who is born in the manger next-door to Jesus and grows up to join an anti-Roman separatist group called the Judean People's Front

They were the People's Front of Judea!

The film is hilarious, and anyone who works themselves up into a righteous froth over the movie is insecure about his own faith.

This film will be lucky to make 3% of what The Passion made at the box office.

It's already made $140 million. Not counting income from the re-release, Passion would have to make $4.6 billion to make that true. I believe Passion will pass the billion mark in the next 5-10 years, but it's not going that high.

:) These days, we HAVE to keep a sense of humor! I actually saw their stage show in NYC in 1976, met them at the exit afterwards and got their autographs. John Cleese was quite charming and stayed around to chat with the crowd. The others pretty much just wanted to get out of there. Can't blame them - they must have had better things to do than spend time with a pudgy 15 year old boy! No, I lost the playbill they signed, over the years.

My new secretary and her husband are British.

Her husband's name is Brian and she, he and I are all avid Python fans.

I now refer to her as the "Wife of Brian."

He is an agnostic, who attends our church regularly. He is employed in the textile industry, so I refer to him as a "Man of the Cloth."

I'd forgotten how funny that movie was. During the bit where Brian gets caught in mid-air by the UFO, I thought I'd have a heart attack, I was laughing so hard.
