You laugh, but it's true. You'll laugh even more when you read this CBS article and see that they take the plan seriously: CBS Article He [Clinton] approached Gen. Hugh Shelton, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and said, according to the book, "It would scare the (expletive) out of al Qaeda if suddenly a bunch of black ninjas rappelled out of helicopters in to the middle of their camp. It would get us an enormous deterrence and show those guys we're not afraid." I can't imagine how much Shelton laughed. I guess Klinton had been watching a Chuck Norris movie.

Yep. Darned if he does, darned if he doesn't.

One thing I like about President Bush is that he doesn't take a public opinion poll before he make decisions, although I'm sure there are people in his administration who take into account the political fallout that his decisions will have, when he makes a decision, it's a done deal

Kerrey just slammed FNC for showing the transcripts of the 2002 Clarke interview, saying that they exhibited a violation of trust from a "background interview."

ARGH!

Now that Kerrey just slammed FNC, it seems likely this slick tongued thing is going to make a comeback.

"The mainstream press is NOW open about their taking of sides. They are part of the Kerry campaign."

I know there are not a lot of O'Riley fans here but 2 nights ago, he reported that Kerry and a bunch of reporters had a meeting at the HOME of one of them . Toes to toes, nose to nose. The lamestream is in bed with this guy.

Come on, leftists, you can't have it both ways. Either Bush took it too seriously or not seriously enough. You can't argue both positions with credibility!

Unfortunately, for the average sheeple, they can. It is almost Orwellian - being able to take both sides of an argument at the same time and actually believe what you are saying!

What the h*ll doess that really have to do with how Bush acted prior to 9/11???

Nothing IMO. This guy is suppose to be an expert on terrorism? He's an expert manipulator, that's for sure.

Now I understand where that shining paladin of libertarian truth, known locally as "JohnGalt" is coming from.

Stop the jooooos!

Thank the good Lord that we have crusaders for truth, who are fighting to eject the eviiiillll jooooiiiisssshhh neo-con zionist cabal that controls the Bush administration. Wheww, and for a while there I thought he was nuts. :)

I hope you are wrong. I hope most in the public (excepting the 30% who are blinded by their inherent leftness) can see the hypocrisy. I hope . . . .

Now Clarke is trying to say he was "playing politics" and he was covering up for President Bush.

More a case of how can I spin this to make us look good. A simple check would have shown him that Fox followed proper procedure for releasing the transcript.

Kerry slams FNC?? For providing transcript that FNC got permission to publish.

I think some people need to walk out on Kerry in protest. See how the partisan nature of the commission looks to him then.....

Kerry say anything else about it???

If you have to ask why the President went into Iraq, you need to spend less time here and more time reading about Iraq and the UN.

I don't think the people asking this question (the Dems) spend time here. What do you think?
