While we are waiting, we can enjoy this...

Kaba Kick is a Russian roulette for kids. The player points the gun at his or her own head and pulls the trigger. Instead of bullets, a pair of feet kick out from the barrel (which is shaped like a pink hippo). If the gun doesn't fire, the player earns points.

Ah, gruesome! Just a shade or two removed from the deadly toys they still let us play with when we were kids, beofre the safety police rounded the corners on everything, physically and every other way.

Whammo Air Guns. Cock the plunger, pull the trigger, and fire a burst of air 20'. Fun! Cool! And BANNED by the idiots in toy safety when some kid put it to his brother's ear and deafened him. One moron; all kids lose out.

It is the parents' (note the possessive form...implies two parents!) to monitor and protect their kids, and see to it that they don't do anything stupid. And it is the parents' duty to let kids occasionally suffer the consequences of doing a d@mn stupid thing to teach them that life will bite you if you act like a little moron.

Those deadly, incorrect toys...I remember one of my favorites was a Man from Uncle transistor radio, at least it looked like one, which popped out a barrel, stock and grip when you pressed a button. Too cool!

Of course then a boy could be seen out with a BB gun in the yard and no one called the police either. And it was de rigeur for every boy to have a pocket knife.
