Rush is ALL OVER this story. Says this is a blow to journalism. CBS doesn't mention they have a financial stake in Clarke's book. CBS does NO research before having Clark on. CBS doesn't ask Clarke ONE hard question. CBS doesn't mention that Clarke has said the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he's saying now.

That's why RUSH is the best in his field. NO ONE comes close!!!

Berger did say he discussed al-Qaeda with Condi in their first meeting (and I assume that would have been during the transition period between administrations).

Does anyone have a link to Rice's writings before entering the administration? I tried a google search but didn't really find anything (there are too many post 9/11 hits to sort through).

Clarke's 'impression of Condi' not knowing about al-Qaeda was "erroneous." [Yeh, it was an out and out lie.]

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was not quoting Berger. The questioner said 'erroneous' and Berger sidestepped a response. (I should have drawn a line between that statement and the previous about Berger talking to Condi.)

Every Dem questioner is somehow trying to slime their way, with words, to prove that Xlintons response to the Cole bombing was sufficient/justified. Any American with average to sub average intelligence can figure out that that is not true.

She KNEW in 2000 that Al Qaeda was a threat and would likely attack us on our own soil somday if they weren't dealt with.
