Wanna bet that when Clarke starts to testify, he'll announce that his book can be ordered on Amazon.com?

The Dems are hawking Clarke's book just to get Hannity's book out of the #1 space. lol

Gun is smoking!

Will any of the Republicans on the 9/11 committee bring this up with Clarke?

We know that Roemer, BenVeniste and Go-relic will not mention it.

YeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaa!

"So, what does someone have on Clarke?"

I'm curious too. I haven't read the book yet and probably won't. But it's been dissected pretty darn well and is apparently full of contradictions, factual errors, and misinterpretations (like Condi not knowing about al-Quaeda). So why is this guy, a 30 year civil servant, who by all accounts was a hard worker (but arrogant), working a very tough assignment, with some successes (and many more failures), coming out with this kind of trash? It could just be he feels partly responsible for 9/11 and wants to blame shift, is in it for the $ to sell his book, or somebody put him up to it, or a combination of reasons. But it's worth looking in to. 10 years from now he might look back and say "I really soiled my career when I wrote that book". He may even feel that way tomorrow.

Washington is such an incestuous place!

Richard Ben-Veniste, (an assistant special prosecutor during Watergate, and the former Democratic counsel during the Senate Whitewater probe), is a most partisan democrat! Truth be damned with this scoundrel!

Sandy Berger's upturned, bouncing thumb is silly, silly, silly!!

Jim Angle was sitting on the tape for 2 years, at least that's what he told David Asman. He didn't need to have clearance from the White House.

Actually, we should start a emailcampaign to CBS demanding that they do a follow up on 60 minutes this coming week, given that they helped perpetrate a fraud..

In may be less of what someone has on Clarke, but more what someone has given him - I'm thinking George Soros and big bucks.

This is outstanding work. Now, some good conservative journalist has to walk the dog back from Clarke's publication of the book to his decision to saddle up with Rand Beers and destroy Bush.

What was Clarke offered, and when?

Be Seeing You,

Chris
