I want his tail pinned to the wall but he will twist his statements in the WH briefing just as Isikoff did for him earlier, i.e., he was trying to please his new boss, blah blah. This slime has forewarned.

C'mon Clarke, hold up your damned book and tell me where I can buy the thing! /sarcasm

Clarke is just stalling hoping Gordon's time runs out before questioning about Angel tape. I wonder if the Commission has seen Angel transcript...

Give him time Im sure he'll get that self promotion in sometime today.

Rush is reading all sorts of memos from committee members complaining about Clarke and his lack of information or availability. Basicially calling him totally incompetent. No wonder he was fired. Linda Vester had somebody on during the break from this, I can't place who said this, but the gist of it was, that Clarke thought he was missing some of the meetings, but there were a lot more meetings that he didn't even know about that he didn't even get invited to.
He was out of the loop for quite some time. This is all so much sour grapes.

Switzerland doesn't border Germany. LOL. You have to be careful in Freeperland.
Actually, that's not correct. Switzerland does border Germany. But the country they have marked as Switzerland is actually the Czech Republic.

And someone reminded us yesterday that during that time period the Bush administration also had to deal with our plane down in China. That has not been mentioned at all. Has there ever been an administration that has had to deal with so many real crises yet had so much resistance from the other party? Never. When was the last time we had a dem in office for 8 years?

Yes, he is buddies with both Joe Wilson, and Rand Beers, who quit and now both work for Jacques Kerry.

Well, we certainly aren't hearing Clarke having to defend his very different words in the FNC tape.

I told that stupid aide of Graham's yesterday to keep microphones away from that senile old geezer. I especially pointed out his refusal to admit that condi rice is not just an expert on the soviet union and russia, but a multitude of Countries. For God's sake she tutored W on all that for months prior to his becoming president, and even after.

This guy is hung up on the meetings he chaired ... and hung up on his titles and relative positions. If I was interviewing this guy for a job I'd never hire him Ditto. Anyone who is that hung up in titles and internal power plays would be far more likely to have negative productivity. Give me people who just want to do the job, and could care less about titles.
