My guess is that she was scheduled before the book ownership issue was raised by Drudge, and did not want to face the obvious questions.

I would tend to believe Stahl. Imus is where the Dems go for cover. He is a democratic shill so why fear the guy?

March 22, 2004
(CBS) Robert Kennedy, Jr. and his brother Max, along with Maria, Robert, Timothy and Anthony Shriver, talk about the burdens and blessings of the Kennedy family legacy: the problems theyve had as they struggle to establish their own identities, the family tragedies theyve faced and how theyve finally made peace with the past.
With the release of Laurence Leamers book, "Sons of Camelot," anchor Lesley Stahl conducts interviews with the Kennedys and Leamer for a special 48 Hours, Tuesday, March 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

The I-Dude was relentless in showing J.Alter's bias for Richard Clarke and Kerry, and his hatred of Bush. Alter was suggesting that the administration had no right to vigorously defend itself and the President in the face of possibly outrageous and opportunistic lies.
Don ask Alter, "what did your wife say when you told her you were leaving her for Richard Clarke"? Priceless.

This is why liberals won't succeed in talk radio. They actually have to answer tough questions and not just spout Leftist propaganda without challenge.

Did you catch Imus' slam on David Gregory this morning? He said Gregory was 'way out of line' in some news conference. Gregory used to be on the Imus show all the time, but it seems lately since David's true colors are showing (i.e. open contempt of Pres. Bush,) Imus doesn't have him on his show as much anymore, and has turned to Norah O'Donnell instead. (I know, I know, she's not much better.)
BTW, does anyone know if O'Donnell and Gregory are "an item"? Imus hints at that all the time.
