Khrushchev's children fulfilling his prophesy

Liberal elites talk a good game when it comes to racism, inclusion and diversity – as long the minority is pro-abortion, pro-immorality, program dependent and blames white males and the rich for all ills.

I do not consider myself a minority. I consider myself an American. There being some 250-plus million Americans – that hardly makes me a minority. Having said that, I am incensed that elite social racist liberals would – with the Machiavellian treachery of their icon Tom Lynch – attempt to destroy the careers and reputations of decent Americans.

Consider the vilification of Miguel Estrada, President Bush's judicial nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit. The ultra liberal, anti-American, socialist group "People for the American Way" employed baneful Lynchian tactics against Estrada.

They posited that Estrada's position to defend anti-loitering statutes and ordinances were somehow anti-black and anti-Hispanic. In reality, his position was in the best possible interest of the communities most harmed by loitering.

Visit any ghetto /high-crime area and the very first thing one notices is thugs hanging out on corners selling drugs, guns and illegal contraband. The harm to these communities would be greatly reduced if police were permitted to make those corners of illicit activity uncomfortable.

It is not their First Amendment right, as these socialists argue, to defame and endanger neighborhoods. It is not their right to impede legitimate business activity by their presence.

Estrada was characterized as a traitor or "Uncle Tom." Then, in true Lynchian fashion, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and La Raza "expressed serious concerns." Estrada – a lawyer of impeccable credentials, an immigrant from the humblest of origins – was represented as bad for the Hispanic and black communities by other Hispanic and black groups.

The poster child for any anti-drinking-and-driving campaign, Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., called Associate State Supreme Court Justice and Bush judicial nominee Janice Rogers-Brown a "Neanderthal."

Behind the scenes, away from public scrutiny, liberal elites tacitly endorsed the most vulgar public lynching of a black woman ever seen. Brown was portrayed in cartoon characterizations that would make the most evil of early slave traders blush with shame.

But Kennedy portrayed his own ignorance in so labeling Brown because the actual image he saw in his mirror with a jutting jaw, protruding orbital ridges, projecting face, oversized head and bulbous nose was Java man (or in his case, martini man).

Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., and Dick Durbin, D-Ill., called Brown "out of the mainstream," because she supports the Constitution as written. They have publicly berated her. But unlike Leahy, Brown was never unceremoniously booted from a Senate committee for leaking sensitive information. (Leahy retains shameful recognition for his treacherous behavior while on the Senate Intelligence Committee.) Durbin, himself, is under investigation for "unlawfully leaking truly classified material" ("Did Durbin leak classified info?" – Jill Stanek, Illinois Leader, Feb. 9, 2004).

It was Durbin's staffer, who no doubt was mirroring his boss' opinion, when he condescendingly referred to Estrada as not deserving a straight up or down confirmation vote on the Senate floor "because he is Hispanic."

The civil rights of decent Americans are being trampled daily by leftist courts that are out of control. Activist judges brought us homosexual marriage. They deny God in public schools, but force homosexual readers on first graders. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments on our American right to pledge our flag as "One nation under God."

Liberal groups and senators defame honest, moral, hardworking American judicial nominees of color. Neither Estrada nor Brown have conceived children out of wedlock – unlike the head of the NAACP – nor have they abandoned their dates at the bottom of the Chappaquiddick. Yet they are deemed bad for America.

It is up to decent Americans to rein in this behavior – or throw the perpetrators of such behavior out. Because the only solution elected conservatives can come up with is to fire a trusted and loyal staff member.

Who could have imagined when Nikita Khrushchev – the former Soviet communist leader of the USSR – said, "I can prophesy that your grandchildren will live under socialism" and "we will bury you," he intended to use our own courts and elected officials to do it.
