Off topic, but I have a question about Kerry in Vietnam....how is it that somebody was filming him over there? (They are using the footage in his ads.) Does anybody know who shot the film and why? I mean, why him? Was he already well known at the time? Was it govt footage or a news agency? Just curious.Thank you.
Oh, good question. I recall seeing a thread that told of Jean Keri taking movies of re-enactments/record making preservations of where his service in N. Vietnam took place. It sounded to me like he was doing so to have a 'record' of his military service there to use for (what later was deemed by the FBI) future political aspirations. He had it in his mind way back to run for political office. And of course, he ran for U.S. Senate not too many years later. So now, of course, he is using those (it sounds like, from your post - I haven't seen them yet) in his ads for his Presidential bid. I wonder where the film is of the Kansas City meetings where he was part of the discussion of ASSASSINATING U.S. Senators who supported the VN war effort ??
