I have been a member of FreeRepublic since July 1998. I have not missed a day of Freeping, unless sick, on vacation, or my computer was down. I no longer subscribe to a paper or a mag. I do not look at FR for fair and balanced, I look at FR for common sense, a filter for main stream media blab, for a truth that I will not get elsewhere. The most fascinating aspect of FR is the reporting, investigating, and the research that happens everyday on FreeRepublic.com by the posters.

I listen to and trust Rush and Brit Hume on FoxNewsTV for the same reasons.
