Matt Reilly, also known as 'harpseal' on Free Republic, died on March 19, 2004.
His friend Eileen is making arrangements for a Memorial service at the local VA.
Matt was a former Navy SEAL, a keen businessman, a friend to his Walker Hound, and an accomplished sailor.
He was also my friend and my business partner. I can't barely see the keyboard through my tears. He will be missed greatly.

Harpseal, Matt Reilly, was one of my early favorites on Free Republic.
When he was featured recently on FR, he and I had a few private FReepmails. I knew something was wrong health wise, and he didn't want to go into the problem.
America has been blessed with men like Harpseal/Matt since the days before we became a republic up to now. Matt and the others insured that we still have a country.
Bless him, and you hang in there.

I think I need the prayers as much as he. I'm not taking this very well. I know. I've been there. There's nothing anybody can do to heal the hurt . . . and you never "get over" it . . . just know that in time you will feel better. So be patient, mourn in measure, and try to just endure until that time.
