Mansoor Ijaz slamming Richard Clarke on Fox'N Friends
Fox News Channel
Posted on 03/22/2004 4:28:39 AM PST by ReleaseTheHounds
Mansoor Ijaz just called Richard Clarke essentially a liar. Challenged virtually all of his claims -- and accused Clarke of stonewalling Ijaz's efforts to capture Bin Laden via the Sudanese.

That was John Podhoretz. I videotaped both that interview, and the one with Mansoor Ijaz. I didn't get Condi Rice's interview on tape, unfortunately. No doubt Fox will re-air the pertinent clips from it, though. Thanks, Matchett. I've posted my correction, too. [And got facemasked by Bluntpoint over it after the whistle, not that I'm whining about it. ;-)]

And I think time is on his side. He's just ahead of the curve with much of his inside information.

Excellent point well made.

Clarke a terrorist and security expert for Reagan, Bush1, Clinton, and Bush2. That is more continuity than anuy other person in our government.Ah, the perfect example of the Peter Principle.
To: mtbopfuyn
Ah, the perfect example of the Peter Principle. And a perfect opportunity for puns, too: Dick is Principly a Peter. ;-)

And when 43 came in, Clarke was demoted from his cabinet-level position. Gee, wonder why the lamestream never mentions that little fact. I pulled out my old copy of Bob Woodward's book, Bush at War which accounted the months after 9-11 and Clarke's name is not mentioned once in the book. (At least not listed in the index).
I'm not sure what that means, but since Woodward claims he had unfettered access to anyone he wanted to talk to, it appears that Clarke was not near the top of anyone's VIP list.

Everyone, call your elected RATS offices, particularly in DC, and tell them, "nice try, Clarke struck out, next batter up, if you like -- particularly as we await the list of foreign leaders supporting your presumptive nominee."
