Carter savages Blair and Bush: 'Their war was based on lies'
Drudge Report ^ | March 22, 2004 | Andrew Buncombe

Posted on 03/21/2004 6:32:50 PM PST by Bubba_Leroy

Jimmy Carter, the former US president, has strongly criticised George Bush and Tony Blair for waging an unnecessary war to oust Saddam Hussein based on "lies or misinterpretations". The 2002 Nobel peace prize winner said Mr Blair had allowed his better judgement to be swayed by Mr Bush's desire to finish a war that his father had started.

Iran hostages, 444 days. Nice job. Oh, and double digit inflation. What else? Do you recall how discouraged America was those days? It took a hockey game and Ronald Reagan to get us moving again. Please don't try to kill our spirit again.

Peanut butter brained Carter has never intentionally told a lie, he's just too damn stupid to recognize the truth when he sees it.

Stupid is as stupid keeps on doing.

Say what you will about Clinton, but Carter is without a doubt the worst President during my lifetime. Clinton, though a terrible person who was President, was fortunately unable to get much of his policy passed because of Republican Congressional gains during his term. Carter was bad, the confidence of the entire country was shaken when he was President and he did his best to make our "superpower" nation as impotent as possible.

I liked it better when we didn't hear from past presidents. Of course the only two we have heard from after they left office are Carter and Clinton. How can we ever miss them if they never leave?

Carter! Shut the F--- Up! Go Away!

Add to his long list of dismal and spectacular failures his trip to North Korea in 1994. He signed the "treaty" with those commie a-holes giving them everything they needed to produce nuclear weapons. But of course they told Carter they wouldn't do that. Jimma, of course, believed them. Carter never met a Commie he didn't love.

I wish someone would cram that "Peace Prize" up Carter's arse.

This "peanut man" has brought so much disgrace to my state of Georgia. I am ashamed that he was ever Governor, then Pres. While Pres.,he was laughed at...now we want to spit at!

I cannot find any way whatsoever to communicate with the "peanut man". He has no e-mail, address, at all. Even the Carter Center is unavailable. I would love to tell him what I think.

To my everlasting shame I must admit when I was young and foolish I voted for this embicile. That was my last vote for the democratic party though I still bear the guilt of it today. The very mention of Jimmah now causes me to laugh and wretch at the same time. My father thinks he is wonderful because he builds homes for poor folks. One in a long line of people who think good works will save their souls from the evil they have done.

When will Carter ever get a life?

If he would just stick to building houses and growing peanuts, (or is that growing houses and building peanuts?), we would all be happier!

(And, yes, I voted for him, but it's too late to take that back)

The threat is nearly invisible in ordinary ways. It is a crisis of confidence. It is a crisis that strikes at the very heart and soul and spirit of our national will. We can see this crisis in the growing doubt about the meaning of our own lives and in the loss of a unity of purpose for our Nation.

So what the hell were we supposed to do with gibberish in our ears? Thanks so much, Mr. (former, thank God) so-called leader of the free world.
