Goodbye you cheerleading losers

A few days ago, the esteeemed host and founder of this foremerly great website invited me to do the following:

"654. To: JohnGaltfla (#367)

Oh, it's much better to go out in a blaze of glory. Martyrdom, 72 virgins, plaque on the "Great Ones" wall of fame and all that rot.

jimrobfr posted on 2004-03-19 03:29:45 ET"

Obviously, he was concerned that some of his better non-bot posters had abandoned FR for greener fields where our financial and intellectual contributions would be appreciated. It was amusing to watch former FReepers belittle, banter and blast JimRob in various forms.

I was wrong.

FR has changed.
Deal with that fact boys and girls.
Many of us grew up in a more conservative era, where our nation and our freedoms were first and foremost. Now we learn that it that is not the case. Principles are for losers according to the Bots and most of the ignorant posters here on FR. To create noise and call those of us who have been loyal to the conservative cause such creative and wonderful names as "Soros lovers", "Mobyites", "communists"(now that's a good one for those of us who have been overseas staring at AK-47's), "DUers" and names which are forbidden for me to mention but ok for the Bushbots.

The noise has driven off many of the best posters from this site. Now FR has become the Fluff of the RNC, posting such creative threads as "Pray for President Bush - Day 1276", "The Economy (Freep this poll)", " FReeper After Actions", "After Action Freep A.N.S.W.E.R. AUSTIN TX 3/20/04", etc...

It sounds more to me like everyone is proud of responding but no one has the convictions excpet for what the RNC faxes them. This election should not be about "Republican" v. "Democrat" principles. Neither party has any principles. If you morons believe that, then you are bigger fools than I thought. This is about the future of America an the viability of capitalism in this nation.

Why "FReepers" can not see this and hold "their man" to the Hamiltonian principles of limited Federal government and enhancing our freedoms by reducing dependency on any government. By controlling immigration, restructuring the tax system to pre-1916 form, and by enhancing the defense of this nation by using actions instead of words when dealing with foreign powers (little things, like enforcing the acts against nations which do business with Cuba, as Bush promised in 2000). Unfortunately you mind numbed morons don't care. If you're 401K shows a fiat currency positive figure, you're all happy as a fly in a cow pasture.

Go for it.

As Senor Cartman would say:

"Screw you guys, I'm going home"

"I'd like just ONE Freeper to explain to me why the GOP's policies of accelerating socialism and a obliterating U.S. sovereignty is acceptable?"

"well maybe because that is a bit overblown and no one can argue against such hyperbole."

Which part is the "hyperbole" again?

Is it the fiscal overspending part, OR is it the blurred Mexican border and unimpeded invasion?

Why not pose that conundrum over on LP, where it'll find a receptive crowd?

Well if you want to talk about fiscal overspending then you have something to talk about. If you want to spout "socialism" then you are just sloganeering. If you want to talk about a decades old problem of illegal immigration then you have something to talk about. If you want to yell "unimpeded" invasion then you are just being ignorant. To do otherwise is not debate it is just ranting.

Ah let it go. Todd is just a source of pity. That damned BikerBar is the only thing Todd has in his miserable life to make him feel important. He really is a sad human being.

I read a rant over there against JR...it was totally irrational. Something about why it is not nice to hate DemonRats because they are "socialists, hate the military, and are big government folks."

Well, duh!! What's to like!?

I'm like thinking...this place is supposed to be a conservative forum??? His own words placed him in Ann Coulter's "don't have the brains of a toaster" category. A scary place if there ever was one. Things that make you go...puke. The more I read, the more it felt like I was reading very slick leftist propaganda posted by "alleged" conservatives to give it validity....NOT.

Now sirrah, you'd have to know that anyone who could make a Pat Buchanon/Arianna Huffington peanut butter and chocolate crack has already read that article.

I've been wondering about these wingnuts for quite some time, although I usually just dismiss them as anarcho-rightists or believers in the mythical idea that income taxes are illegal and there is a marijuana clause in the 2nd amendment.

Maybe I'm just a Bushbot or something, but I didn't cotton much to this sort of NWO-CFR-joooish socialist one-world government conspiracy claptrap back when dubya was still a drunk, and I don't cotton to it now.

Buchanonites....the new Hare Krishna

They're only obsessed with themselves, and jealous of FR's growing popularity, not just online, but in the mainstream media.

And it's being driven by an ever growing, big spending government, and out of control, wide open borders, IMO.

Government spending has been high forever. Illegal immigration has been going on for a long time.

Oh, well that explains everything. Thanks.

You think he's the only one that sees the Republican party moving left?

I don't know how anyone can say it isn't and I would say Orin Hatch, Republican Senator from Utah, is leading the way. Check this out.

Yeah, I read that. Not surprised at all.
