Thank you all for this show of support.
In Memphis Many held signs. "Fund schools, not war." "Stop mad cowboy disease." "War is not the answer." One man wore his feelings on his T-shirt: "Stop Bush."

What I don't know is how an ugly mug like you got so lucky. It was luck. Actually a blind date on 9-19-98. Fortunately some women don't have to have Dash Riprock..lol

Several counterprotesters said they were members of Free Republic, a network of conservative activists who plan activities through their Web site.
Some of them called the protesters ''useful idiots'' who were unwittingly supporting Communist organizations that they think organize anti-war rallies throughout the country. Several also said they considered the protest a demoralizing insult to the men and women serving in Iraq.
''These people are naive, they think you can negotiate with Islamic fundamentalists,'' said Nashville's Charles Byrd, holding a large American flag and standing with about a half-dozen other counterprotesters.
''But I think sometimes you have to take the war to the enemy.''
Yall are wonderful!
wardaddy quoted in the newspaper.
I love it.

I regret that as a good Tennessee FReeper I went east to Fayetteville rather than west to Nashville. I did carry my Tennessee flag tho and several Tennesseeans rallied to our flag.
Next time I'll come join you in Tennessee.

Not yet...just getting everything washed, ironed, sent to the dry cleaners, and becoming a wee bit frazzled. Piles of snow on the ground and here I am making certain that linen pants are ironed, bathing suits are ready to go,and pulling straw hats out from behind fur ones.Next up on the todo list,is getting new sunscreen etc.,since I don't trust old stuff in the medicine cabinets. LOL

I love it. Wardaddy should have been on the TV news reports, too. He's an excellent interviewee.
