Cover up by the Klintoon justice department is more like it. A lot of this was talked about at the time by the alternate media.

With Guthrie’s help, an FBI SWAT team surrounded Langan’s parked van at dawn on Jan. 18, 1996. Without warning, the FBI opened fire on Langan. Incredibly, after 47 rounds pieced the subject’s van, the fugitive was able to emerge only slightly wounded.

Well, isn't that interesting. If true, that's just a Chicago style rub-out. But with really bad aim.

Yes, I have posted and commented on several aspects of this screwed up fiasco for quite a while now. Jayna Davis just released her book, detailing the possible connection between McVeigh and Iraqi agents.

Nichols theory of a " wider conspiracy" does nothing to reduce his culpability. An expanded number of conspirators doesn't mean that Nichols is proportionately less guilty. All partcipants in mass murder are equally culpable under the felony -murder act. Nichols purchased the AN , the fuel, and stole the dynamite neccessary to set it off.

Nichols is gonna do the great needle dance..

Good. ALL guilty parties should join him too. Unfortunately, McVeigh was quickly executed before any objective party ever had access to him. He had his reasons to stay quiet, and the government did too. Obvious and clumsy cover up, but there doesn't seem to be much of a chink in the armor.

I have no dog in this fight, I've never even been to OK, but this story is fascinating on so many levels. There's something really ugly under the surface.

And if McVeigh was being run as a federal informer, or thought he was, as is beginning to look more and more likely, does that mean you think the feds so using him should be executed as well?

I seem to recall that the feds who gunned down the subject who was supposed to be John Dillinger coming out of Chicago's Biograph theater managed to hit an innocent bystander or two as well, a fairly common component of federal *killed during arrest* operations. When possible, they try to cover it up by blaming it on their dead victims, who can't tell otherwise. But sometimes the witnesses sqwawk, and the real story gets out.

A lot of this stuff about ATF and FBI complicity and foreknowledge of the bombing was known very early. Much of it is laid out in Ambrose Evans-Pritchard's book. He nailed most of it right away--a British reporter coming in from outside and talking to people, which (naturally) all the American reporters neglected to do on instructions from bill clinton.

About the only thing Evans-Pritchards missed was the presence of explosives wrapped around the pillars in the casement, which can be found in Brigadier General Partin's report, dismissed by the judge in the case on instructions from bill clinton.

casement = basement. Sorry about that.

Partin's report keeps moving around, but there appears to be a copy posted at:

That is silly...If Mcveigh was a federal informant that is irrelevant. If a federal informant commits murder he is still culpable in that murder.

Your argument is puerile.

McVeigh waived his appeals. Don't be silly.

And only days after the bombing, the Feds were there with heavy equipment to 'clean it up'.

Also scrubbed were FBI witness papers which claimed there were more than one explosion, IIRC.

Similar witness papers surrounded the 747 that went down off long island. Many witnesses saw a missile contrail, ignored and buried by the Feds.

But I digress. Something is terribly wrong here with the OKC deal. Something wrong enough to keep the Bush admin from revealing it.

what?

If you are facing a needle what would convince you to be quiet?..nothing... you would sing like a bird.

McVeigh never asserted he was a federal informant in court, to his lawyers , family or friends even after he was convicted. He waived his appeals..

From your link:

Davis said "at no time in the past seven years have my witnesses changed one word of their testimonies."

In fact, she said, some witnesses claim the FBI falsified some of their statements.

"I have in my possession several FBI interview statements formally known as '302s' that the witnesses contend contain falsified information that radically altered their positive identifications of Middle Eastern men in the commission of the terrorist strike on America's heartland," she said.

Thanks for that link.
