Nichols theory of a " wider conspiracy" does nothing to reduce his culpability. An expanded number of conspirators doesn't mean that Nichols is proportionately less guilty. All partcipants in mass murder are equally culpable under the felony -murder act. Nichols purchased the AN , the fuel, and stole the dynamite neccessary to set it off.

Nichols is gonna do the great needle dance..

Good. ALL guilty parties should join him too. Unfortunately, McVeigh was quickly executed before any objective party ever had access to him. He had his reasons to stay quiet, and the government did too. Obvious and clumsy cover up, but there doesn't seem to be much of a chink in the armor.

I have no dog in this fight, I've never even been to OK, but this story is fascinating on so many levels. There's something really ugly under the surface.

And if McVeigh was being run as a federal informer, or thought he was, as is beginning to look more and more likely, does that mean you think the feds so using him should be executed as well?
