I had a 79 Pinto. White with red interior. All my friends learned how to drive a stick on it. Full AM/FM 8-Track with four speakers. It was hot, hot, hot.

I had a 79 Pinto.

I had some model close to that (maybe a little older) and you couldn't kill it. It was also stick shift, but drove a little rough, we used it as a backup car for years until it became to bad an eyesore.
