WASHINGTON: Hollywood femme fatale Angelina Jolie wants to become a pilot so that she can ferry aid workers and food supplies around the world and impress her young son Maddox with her jet setting adventures.
The Tomb Raider actress is studying hard for her license and has given herself a five-year deadline to master flying so that she can take to the skies on a whim, reports Imdb.
Jolie insists she'll withdraw from acting once she masters the cockpit, and spend more time working for the United Nations, for which she's an ambassador for refugees.
"My dream is to retire in a few years and take six months and deliver food and help people get from one place to another and just loan out services as a pilot and be with my kids. I could just go.
"Part of this motivation, I'm convinced, is that every time Mad sees a plane he goes, 'Ahhhhh! Mama!' And the idea that I could actually fly a plane by the time he's four? I'll be like Superman to him.
"We could get to Ireland in a half hour. 'What do you want to do Mad? You want to go get Ice Cream in Spain?'", the actress, who has a home in England, was quoted as saying by the report.

I would be happy to volunteer my services to Angelina if she would like an instructor. If I can train kids to fly Tomcats, I think I can teach her to fly a Cessna naked without too much difficulty.

Her kid's nickname is "Mad"? Strange. But then, so is she.
I'd say this will last about a minute or so, or until her next "whim du jour" hits her.

This is really stupid. If she really wants to make a difference, then she would use the money she makes -- and her contacts with other flakes who make too much money -- to fund and put together an organization that could accomplish a 100 times she says she wants to do as an individual.
IMO, these "types" feel guilty about having so much and don't really believe they deserve it.
I've known many who want to "serve the world" and reject out of hand that they could accomplish far more if they applied their skills and education to make money to used it to support their "cause" than they could living barely at subsistence level and volunteering at the local shelter.

Reality check Angelina: You are not Laura Croft, Tomb Raider
anymore than Marty Sheen is president.
Stick to what you do best, mouthing other peoples' words!

I don't agree. There are risks worth taking.
Now, literally, you don't want them SLEEPING, you want them off, up and out of your place before YOU go to sleep.

O'Reilly was talking about her the other night. He's been trying to get her on his show to explain what she does for the UN and how people can help, but she has thus far refused. O'Reilly was of the opinion that her reluctance to talk, not just to him, but to anybody, was an indication that what she's doing is more about her than really wanting to help people. Otherwise, why will she not discuss what she does and tell people how they can help her in that endeavor?
