I feel like I know Mike and Eric even though I have never met them. Every single night for almost a year, I have prayed for Eric and Mike and their loved ones. I truly consider it an honor to be able to say hello to Mike at Walter Reed and help him anyway I can. I feel it's the least I can do for somebody that has sacrificed so much for our country. I will probably never meet Eric, but also feel I know him, and I'm looking forward to him getting home to see his Mom & Dad.

I'd dead tard tonight. Arrived home from work tonight very late, and I'm an old fart. Can't do that and live.

Had my dose of the dose, milk and a donut, so will hit they bed.

For those who may not have seen the speech today, here is the transcript. It's a very strong speech and was well-delievered, IMO.

I know...I hope Mike realizes that....Mike will work this out..Mike is the type of person who thinks no one else can do his job(I mean this in a good way, not a control freak), he puts too much pressure on himself and doesn't delegate enough....this is one of the reasons Mike and his Major have received such high accolades from the brass...they run a tight ship. Mike is a good 1sg and I know he's worried about how things will be done while he's away.

Just buy Mike a Sam Adams, real beer....he'll be happy...LOL
