Wrong again, the Catholic church clearly states that the saints are NOT worshipped -- only God is worthy of that. If you don't like the word venerated, let's say they're respected. Happy?

Doing all the things involved in worship and then turning around over the shoulder and saying "psst, this ain't worship" Is like stabbing someone to death and looking over your shoulder mid thrust and saying "psst, this ain't murder". Actions speak louder than words.
