So, as long as you are not praying for your departed loved ones, you are practicing your religion rationally. God Bless you for that.

That is true. All those in purgatory will make it to heaven. Praying for the damned is futile; praying for those who are already purified is useless.

I disagree. There is no sin vile enough or big enough that God cannot forgive it.
