Sad life. I hope the remaining time she has she will find peace, and contentment in Jesus.

I hope she doesn't suffer.
Here's a Tammy Faye story. When the sh*t hit the fan and they were arrested, my sister called me and said she didn't know how such nice people could do such a thing. My natrual heathen response was to say "greed."
My sister worked for the Bakers in the gift shop at Heritage USA. She had seen Tammy Faye give her $5000 mink coat to another woman.

My parents lived just a few miles from Heritage USA. One day, I came home from college and saw moving vans hauling away all of their next door neighbor's furniture. Asked my mother where the neighbors were moving to.
"They aren't moving, they donated all of their belongings to PTL," said Mom.

I happend to see LKL tonight, and they played a snippet from the SNL skit The Church Chat with The Church Lady, and Jim and Tammy Faye (characterized) were the guests. CNN went to split screen and Tammy Faye was just laughing as the cast of SNL was going through the skit lampooning both her and her ex-husband.
She told Larry the Church Chat was her favorite SNL skit.
Always good to laugh at yourself, I believe.

I sure many seniors contributed to the PTL so Tammy Faye could have a $5000 mink coat.

My prayers go out to her. Both my folks died of lung cancer. My Dad in '78. My Mom in '90. In my Dad's case, they tried to operate and take the lobe that was affected. However, it was too close to the aorta and they ended up closing him up and talked about cobalt treatments. Sometime the next day he suffered a massive stroke which he never recovered from. Father's Day that year was on the 18th of June. He died the 20th.

She was a crook like her bogus "religious" husband. Both were chairmen of CHRIST© Industries Inc.
I wish well in her battle with the big C but I don't think she's gonna be hangin with the Lord...Satan's got a nice comfy chair for her awaitin.

God bless Tammy Faye! She's been through a lot.
I began watching Heritage USA because I loved their music. It wasn't long till it became obvious that they were selling "real estate" - and not long after that, the show was over.
I'm sorry that she is ill and will remember her in my prayers.
