Well, "everybody knows" that Wahhabism and Ba'athist socialism are diametric opposites, and can never be reconciled.

After all, wasn't Saddam regularly murdering the Shi'ite Muslims and extending additional considerations for the Sunni Muslims? He murdered some of them too, but not as many.

Keep in mind that Saddam had no compunctions whatsoever in having two of his sons-in-law summarily executed, and he probably ordered the watcher squad assault on Uday when the boy was running a little wild a few years back here. Just as a matter of discipline, you know.

Saddam was just a bad seed. But then, Osama bin Laden isn't so very much better.

It is no secret I am not a fan of this kiddo, but this has to be the most poorly constructed excuse for analysis that I have ever seen him write.

That said, I'm not in a good mood, so I'll mark it for a revisit, because at this point I haven't a clue how to draw the zigs on the zags on the rags...
