I've heard that both sides are searching for a full undedited copy of the Cavett tape from 1971. (libs want to get rid of it)Really? Portions of it were included in that piece Brian Williams did for NBC. The piece that was talked up on Hardball because of the Nixon angle.
But it was quite a lengthy report and had some excerpts from Cavett with Kerry "debating" some pro-war fellow. What type of thing is supposed to be in the uneditid tape and do you think Brian Williams had access to it in its entirety?
