She's admitting she had the contact. Now she's just trying to spin her way out of a prison cell.

Does she now work for the JFKerry campaign, or maybe Hillry?

Lindauer said she was only trying to help [...resistance groups in Iraq kill Americans and Iraqis.]

The indictment alleges that Lindauer met with an undercover FBI agent posing as a Libyan to discuss helping resistance groups in Iraq.I'm betting that meeting is the zinger. The other stuff is lightweight. I wonder how Shiela's doin'? Up nights?

From another article:
she acted as a spy for the Iraqi Intelligence service, and accepted $10,000 for the information she gathered.
This little money thing won't look good on the resume.

Probably grooming her. She doubtless impressed them with her Andy connection. She ain't got the brains of a ice cube. (although an intellectual giant, she was, among her former employers)

By the picture, it appears she is enjoying her fifteen minutes of fame. I am amazed at this lib's (and other libs like her) hubris to believe that they have the brains and/or the ability to act as self appointed ambassador to Iraq. (Sean Penn is an example). Where did they get the idea that they are smart enough to do something that trained or experienced Foreign Service officers cannot?
These type of people have been told since birth that they are "special" and have misunderstood that to believe that they have an intelligence or ability we, the great unwashed, do not. Liberal superiority is a "mental illness".

I get the feeling Cards second cousin was setting him up with that letter. This woman was definitely on Saddams payroll.

"Lindauer described her gradual change from peace activist to self-appointed conflict mediator for the United States in the Middle East.
Lindauer said she was only trying to help.

I'm betting that meeting is the zinger. The other stuff is lightweight. Agreed, but how much can we depend on the FBI to tell the truth? If they have tapes of her conspiring that's one thing, but if it comes down to 'he said - she said' I wouldn't regard that as much evidence of guilt.

I agree. If they were going to pop her on something serious, they would hardly have let her out again on bail.
If Suzie had any brains (which she obviously doesn't) she would have been in France 8 hours after they released her.

Come on reporters. Don't just paint Lindauer as a lone wacky bird.
This creature was on the editorial board of a large daily newspaper in western Washington for 2 years, and worked as a reporter for the Seattle P.I.
She has a master's degree from the London School of Economics, where she made God knows how many contacts with foreign activists who call America "evil" as they promote global socialism.
She worked as an aide for more than one Democrat Senator.
How many traitorous foreign educated Americans have infiltrated our press and halls of Congress? Oh, and even the White House if we remember Clinton (though I really want to forget him.) Hmmmm... wasn't John F'in Kerry educated in Switzerland?
She's dangerous.
By supporting Iraqi "resistance" forces she offered to spill the blood of American and allied soldiers.
Let's not feel pity for this delusional witch - let's dig up all the influence she has had through the years and turn it around.
Yeah, reporters... I mean YOU! She's one of you.... Clean your house.
To: Grut
Well, if they don't have her on videotape for all the world to hear and see, it'll be another major embarrassment for them. I'm thinking they've nailed her, and can show her as she really is, behind the "misguided, well-intentioned peacenick" schtick. For their sakes, that better be the case.

"Where did she get the $500.000 from this time??"
From her daddy, who is a rich former would-be senate candidate in Alaska. Also, why does the government have a hard case to prove here? Isn't her admittedly wanting to conduct foreign policy without government approval enough?
