The loss of the American Democratic Party was indeed the final blow to humanities' long treck toward freedom and liberty.
If only it had not become co-dependent upon the main stream media covering and spinning their blunders, it might have been able to evolve into an idelogically competitive governing institution.
However, after pushing the envelope for eight years of the Clintons, the Democrat Party slogan became" "We'vd lied to so many people, about so many things, for so long, that now we can lie to anyone at anytine about anything, and be assured that the media will prove us right.

Wouldn't it be neat if the media could just report the facts - without slanting it to the left. If only ONE election year, the Republicans didn't have to run against the media as well as the democrats. (I can dream, can't I?) :)

Isn't that the truth. My folks, in their early 80's and lifelong democrats, are just shellshocked. They have been brainwashed long enough to think that conservatives are greedy, racists etc., but...are struggling to maintain that the dems are the party of many many years ago. Thanks for stopping by.
