With the Spanish election, we are witnessing a capitulation to savagery that makes full-scale war inevitable. Sadly, I think she's right.

The message came as a total shock to liberals who have been furiously insisting that Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with al-Qaida. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Ann Coulter.
I've been making that point for days now, and she's the first major media person to mention it.
This election will be won or lost on how the public percieves the Iraq situation, particularly the WMD thing (where Bush should vehemently defend himself, since only an idiot would claim that Bush knew Iraq had no WMD, but said they did anyway)

You know why the left hates Ann Coulter?
Because she's usually right.

Oh, but it worked! The jihadis have graciously given the Spanish a truce. I imagine the truce would be violated if the Spanish were to put the perpetrators of the deaths of 200 people on trial, but at least for now the peaceniks (pazniks?) have their "Paz!"

Sailing to the New World in 1630 on the ship Arabella, the Puritans' leader and governor, John Winthrop, said Americans were entering into a covenant with God to create a "city upon a hill." We would be judged by all the world if we ever broke that covenant. But if we walked with God, "We shall find that the God of Israel is among us, when 10 of us shall be able to resist a thousand of our enemies." He has intervened in our affairs before, such as in 1776, 1861 and 1980.
With the Spanish election, we are witnessing a capitulation to savagery that makes full-scale war inevitable. The Democratic candidate wants to represent godless Europeans. The Republican candidate wants to represent Americans. As Winthrop said: "The eyes of all people are upon us."
Wow. Pretty sobering stuff from Ann. But I truly fear for the future if Kerry gets elected.

I particularly liked the part about God intervening in our affairs in 1776, 1861, and 1980. Yes, it felt like He delivered us when RR was elected.
