Jesus Christ, the Spaniards once had the balls to conquer the entire Aztec, Maya and Inca empires. Not to mention kicking the asslamicsTM out of their homeland. Hey Spain, grow a pair already.

If this doesn't cause the Spanish military to stand up and becounted, it'll be a tragedy if Spain pulls troops out by the end of june.
By then, it'll be moot, as there'll be a UNIraqiNato force in the cities. That won't matter to the jihad, there'll always be something else territorially and the incredible rage and anger at modernity.
But, of course, now that the principle of appeasement is percieved to be in the jihadis favor, expect a surge of terror.
Looks like that Fusion guy was right.

Praise be to God who gave us this victory in the conquest of Madrid I defy anyone to say that the Spanish election wasn't a victory for Al Qaeda.

AQ has already taken credit for their victories in "The Battle of New York", and in "The Battle of Washington D.C."

This is weird - a whole country shaking in their boots and letting themselves be humiliated in front of the whole world. Makes me glad I'm an American.

From Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades to the Nation of Spain:
We have good news and bad news:
The good news is that if you remove all troops from Iraq we will stop killing you.
The bad news is that we will train ETA in our methods so they can be even more effective and kill you in greater numbers!

It is so interesting to be smack dab in the middle of history.
Some day people will read about the cowardly Spanish appeasers and how they voted for terrorists and how they wanted to give up when the going got tough.
But thankfully cooler and braver heads prevailed-- and civilization was saved for another generation to enjoy free of Islamic bondage and opression due to the leadership oif President George W. Bush and the courage of the Americans and their coalition.

CITIZENS OF SPAIN - ATTENTION!
This is what is called the "handwriting on the wall". Your voters caved. Consider your next actions. A lot of death is in your control to either encourage or discourage.

As my grandmother used to say "you made your bed...now lie in it". Spain has chosen to appease the terrorists and they will now get the ultimatums from them.

the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades I don't think these are the real guys. They put out the first letter that gained notoriety, but it might have been a hoax. They also claimed responsibility for the American blackout.
This group did not put out the videotape of the Moroccan claiming responsibility.
Let's see if the press examines it closely.

Propaganda. They are simply pretending that the only issue is Iraq, and that if we back down there, everything will be fine. They very well might give Spain a respite, at least until after the American elections, to create the impression that appeasement works. But the idea that they are going to leave Spain alone forever is ludicrous.
