"More Than $2 Trillion!!"
(To be sung to Boston's "More Than a Feeling")
The LeftWing's in mourning 'cuz SlickWillie's gone...
RATS have no future...with Jean Kerry!!
Right votes fer Strength, not like Spain Done Wrong...
Still, our liberties are stripped away-ay-ay-ay!!
The RightWing needs FReepin'...(more than $2 Trillion!!)
When we hear Big Guv'ment's been holdin' sway (more than $2 Trillion!!)
RightWing needs FReepers (almost $3 Trillion!!)
'Til we see Big Guv'ment melt away...
We'll see our Liberties fadin' away!!
So many FReepers have come and gone...
Their mem'ry fades as the years go by.
Yet I still recall list'nin' ta Limbaugh...
Each year when we vote, Fed budget's too hi-i-igh!!
The RightWing needs FReepin'...(more than $2 Trillion!!)
Folks, I've heard Dem ol' excuses still today (more than $2 Trillion!!)
RightWing needs FReepin' (almost $3 Trillion!!)
'Til we see Big Guv'ment melt away...
High time that Conservatives win the day!!
(Guitar jammin' interlude)
When I'm tired and feelin' old...
I think about Reagan, who saved the day!!
And dream of the men who used to know...
If we close our eyes, FReedom'll slip away!!
DemRATS must pay!! Right must hold sway!!
The LeftWing is reelin'!! (more than $2 Trillion!!)
Folks, we've heard RAT's ol' songs they always play... (more than $2 Trillion!!)
The RightWing needs FReepin'...(almost $3 Trillion!!)
'Till we see KerryMan slink away...
We Shan't Let Slick Willie Git Away !!

See.
*That's* why I love ya, man.
I always know you'll figure it out for *yourself*, then promptly come back & tell me what I tried telling you.
Just takes a little time for you, is all. :o)
"Gettin' too much like the DemonRAT Underground."
Now there's where we disagree.
Even though I've *never* been to DU -- no really, honest -- I know if I did stop by what I'll find there, why it's there, & the character profile of those who'd frequent such an abysmal place.
They're birds of a feather at DU & in that sense then, they stand for *something* & one gets what they came for there, anyway.
But the other place, "TOS"?
Now that joint's populated by freaks, outcasts, sociopaths, cannibals & misfits --*orks* if you will -- all led by a *Big Kahuna* Dork.
That gang of thieves have no allegiance to anything or anyone but themselves; while, tightly wrapping themselves -- & their narrow minded, tunnel vision view of America, today -- in a flag.
Truly dispicable.
The absolute, positively bottom of the barrel worst of the worst & *that's* what makes it a virtual 2004 cyberspace version of Botany Bay.
DU doesn't eveeeen come close to equaling the stench of the Leper Colony.
...TOS is, the consummate shithole. ;^)
Yer welcome! That's from the United Daughters of the Confederacy website, which of course, true to form, isn't quite as beautiful as their old website.
Wasn't it our friend George Allen who allowed the song to be retired when he was in the Executive Mansion? Should we ever forgive him for that?
We've all been there...it can get frustrating and Lord knows I wouldn't want to haveta make a living doing it, but it can be rewarding when every once in awhile you see a light going on inside a Lib'ral's head. One thing working in our favor is that a lot of Leftists aren't too up to speed on issues and their views are not held terribly strongly.
FReegards...MUD
You most certainly may, my FRiend.
"...the DIMocRATS will lose 6 seats in the Senate, the filibusters will end AND the DIMs by '08 will be a northeastern & west coast party ONLY, which controls NOTHING!"
I agree about the six seats...the RATS are facing a buzz-saw in November, as Dubyuh wins big, with significant coattails!!
"...the country is primed for a NEW national party to emerge, as the middle of the road folks (the independents) see no future in either current party."
This is where we may disagree...I believe the next big NEW national party will be a RightWing Party which will emerge if Dubyuh and the RINOs continue their domestic spending binge. This eventuality could be avoided if Bush takes a more conservative tack in his second term, and begins to devolve Power from the Federal Leviathan and back to the States, Localities, and Individuals.
FReegards...MUD
LOL...and THAT's why I love you, man...yer always there with the quick "I told you so!!" Heh heh heh!!
The tenor over there really is amazing, though...very anti-Dubyuh and borderline anti-American. I don't get over there all that often so I don't wanna paint the entire site that way, but today's sojourn was quite discouraging.

"Still, I don't see our purposes for standing up to Radical Islamic Fundamentalism to be "less-than-honorable."
"I thought we were discussing the war in Iraq. As others have said, it didn't used to be a hotbed of radical Islam. Saddam would regularly and violently suppress any signs of radical Islam in his midst and would be condemned by the U.S. for doing so. It may be now, though."
Actually, we're talking about the War on Terrorism, and the influx of Radical Islamic zealots into post-Saddam Iraq is proof-positive that Iraq is a big part of the War on Terrorism. Hussein allowed any number of terrorists a safe haven within his borders as long as they were not threatening his bloody dictatorship. And Saddam sent cash rewards to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. And Saddam himself committed atrocities on his own people, an unmistakeable example of domestic terrorism.
"The Iraq war was an "optional" one. It was started on behalf of Israel and Big Oil. It is not a part of the "war on terror" and saying it is doesn't make it so."
Of course America had the "option" of not fighting the War on Terrorism at all, an "option" the gutless anti-American Bill Clinton chose to take, thereby leading directly to 9/11. But the Iraqi liberation is by no means on behalf of Israel and Big Oil, to say so is just plain silly and smacks of DemonRAT talking points. To win the War on Terrorism, we have to take the fight to the Enemies of America. Afghanistan was a start, but taking action against the Axis of Evil is integral to our ultimate success. Sure, Iran has more "radical Muslims" per capita, but there is good intel that the moderates in Iran will eventually topple the Radicalists from within. And as for North Korea, it looks like we may be successful in using regional pressure to get that nation following a more righteous path. But to ignore Hussein's brutal role in World Terrorism would only be an "option" if we were to follow Clinton's failed anti- Terror policy. Thank God Dubyuh has more foresight than that.
"Taking over Iraq after being attacked by Al-Qaeda (assuming, for the sake of discussion, that it was Al-Qaeda and not NWO-sponsored black ops) is akin to FDR ordering an invasion of Mexico after being attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor."
No, it's like declaring war on on the Axis Powers of Germany, Italy and Japan after being attacked at Pearl Harbor.
"Meanwhile the original "hotbed" in Afghanistan is neglected and a warlord named Dostum took over one of the provinces today from the central government we installed. But you won't hear that being discussed because we have "moved on" from Afghanistan. I can only hope that by this time next year, we will have "moved on" from Iraq. And in both cases, we can say we "won" if it makes everyone feel better."
Progress continues to be made in Afghanistan and Osama bin Laden will eventually be caught or killed. Fortunately, with Bush, we've proven that we can walk and chew gum at the same time in the War on Terrorism. Your--and the Left's--apparent willingness to revel in each and every setback as some sort of validation is pretty pitiful. We are winning the War on Terrorism and will eventually triumph unconditionally as long as we don't become gutless, spineless poltroons like Hanoi Jean Kerry would like us to become!!
Stay the course and our victory is inevitable...MUD
A famous psychologist once said there're undeniable truths in all of our lives either one understands, or they don't.
No gray area.
Obviously the clown you're attempting to reason with doesn't get it; but, then I suspect that's nothing unusual for this moron, either.
...stupidity's a way of life.
Actually, one of the things I dislike most about FR.com is their quick-trigger on outing Lib'rals and banning them. Sure, I think Big Guv'ment Lib'ralism is a plague on our Country and I would love to see it relegated to the ashbin of history. But I would much prefer to convert the Lib'ral individuals themselves, not destroy them.
"You are one of those. Byte me. And welcome to LP, carpetbagger. You threw the first "troll" insult, I am merely responding in kind. Jerk."
Perhaps I did, but I was in the process of normalizing relations when I noticed yer silly comment about me being a JimRob ass-kisser. Fact is, JimRob's revoked my posting privileges a half-dozen times and I'm still not someone he particularly likes. Reckon it's becuz I'm more a conservative/libertarian than I am a Republican, and--despite my approval of Dubyuh's foreign policy--I'm certainly no Bushbot as I can't stand his big-spending domestic compassionate conservatism. Unless I see evidence of Dubyuh becoming more fiscally conservative in his second term, I'll probably be voting Constitution Party in November. Still, that's not going to stop me from doing everything in my power to see that Hanoi John never becomes Commander-in-Chief. Our military deserves soooo much better than that.
FWIW...what was yer Screen Name over at FR.com?! I usually remember most every Lib'ral I debate over there...MUD
Yer probably right..."ferret" even went so far as to say he would "kick my ass" if I was in Oregon...LOL!!

*Probably*?? {raising eyebrow...
'ferret' even went so far as to say he would 'kick my ass' if I was in Oregon..."
HA!!
Why is that statement from the rodent so reminiscent of the "Killer Rabbit" in Monty Python's, "In Search of the Holy Grail," Mud?
...whyyyy-whyyy-whyyy. :o)
ROFLMAO...apparently, ferret's an ex-FReeper and has developed quite a disdain fer my viewpoints over the years. He's also labeled me a "carpetbagger". Reckon I'll git over it...MUD
BTW...why do I visit TOS?! Sometimes I just feel like arguin', I guess!! Folks around here are just too nice!!
"I spent more than twenty years studying fascism, and all that time I kept asking myself how the democratic countries of the West could have been so blind, and how they could have been so totally unprepared for Hitler's war. After all, he had written Mein Kampf, which pretty much laid it all out. Once in power, he set about arming the country, making menacing sounds to his neighbors, crushing the Jews and separating them out of the population, and preparing to march. It was all so clear. He made no effort to trick us. We simply refused to believe what was right in front of our noses. In the fullness of time, the other Europeans were cannon fodder for Hitler's armies, and the United States did virtually nothing until we were bombed into war by the Japanese.
Then I look at China today, and I ask myself the same questions. China's leaders have made no bones about their hatred for us. They have loudly and publicly announced their intention to develop armies capable of destroying us. They have threatened to bomb Los Angeles if we do anything to annoy them, especially in the defense of democratic Taiwan. They have been busily crushing religious groups in China who dare recognize any authority other than the regime itself, and are separating them out of the population. There is no effort to trick us, none of the legendary inscrutability of the East. It is all so clear.
In the past few days, both the CIA and the FBI have warned about the increasing Chinese espionage in the United States, aimed primarily at obtaining our advanced military technology. One wonders why they bother, since we've been quite willing to sell them most anything they need. Clinton and Gore have deliberately and systematically armed China, and when a tiny handful of congressmen tried to get the details, Clinton and Gore quashed investigations and withheld evidence from investigators.
Meanwhile, the Chinese prepare for war, and warn us of its consequences. The headlines for the past several weeks have reported an endless barrage of threats from Beijing: There will be war with Taiwan if it dares to act as an independent country, and war with us if we dare to defend them, as we have sometimes promised to do. It may be all bluff and bluster, but, I keep thinking, that's what lots of people said about Hitler.
The Taiwanese elections are now ten days away, and the Chinese show all the signs of preparing to attack. They have moved an enormous quantity of military materiel down south, just across the straits from Taiwan. They have hordes and swarms of soldiers, bundles of missiles, plenty of aircraft. The intelligence community reports these facts to our leaders, but our leaders are silent. Great journalists like Bill Gertz report these facts to the public, but there is no outcry. We are strong enough to deter China, but we show no sign of wanting to warn them off. On the contrary: we welcome their military leaders, escort them around our bases, sell them our best weapons, and even train their soldiers. Not even the most feckless French leaders would have dreamed of training the Wehrmacht, or of selling advanced technology for the Panzer corps.
Whether now or a few years from now, it is increasingly likely that we will have to fight China, and we have done everything possible to ensure that they will win. In the 1930s, Western businessmen did deals with the Nazis, but there was no leading Western government that armed the Third Reich as a matter of official policy. But we are arming China. Clinton and Gore are Lenin's dream come true: capitalists selling communists the rope with which to hang us.
Some legacy."
"Bill Clinton has sold out this Country's security in a devil's pact to remain in power. At this point, he couldn't stand up to the Chi-Coms even if he were so inclined, because they would leak such compellingly concrete evidence of his treasonous, anti-American activities that even the Clinton Sycophants in the Vast, Left-Wing Media Whore'd would have to sit up and take notice!! Algore is similarly compromised and cannot be trusted to act in the best interests of the United States in matters relating to China. For all you folks who think there is no difference between the DemonRATS and Republicans, please watch this issue carefully over the next eight months...we cannot afford another four-to-eight years of Clinton/Gore policies as they relate to China. And for you BushBackers out there, please make every effort to impress upon Dubyuh the absolute necessity of making ChinaGate an integral issue in the upcoming presidential campaign.
