I want to see US says freed Afghan
FOR a man who had just been freed after two years in Guantanamo Bay, it seemed odd that Haji Osman said he wanted to visit the "good people" in the US, writes Hamida Ghafour.
Osman (35), had just been flown back to Kabul with 22 other men accused of links to the Taliban regime.
But he said yesterday he did not resent his captors and Camp Delta was not as bad as rural Afghanistan.
Osman said: "If you compare it to life in the village, it was good, except we were not free. The food was fresh: chicken, fish, meat, rice and even bananas and oranges." (© Daily Telegraph, London)

I would like to be a doctor, an engineer, ... or an American soldier. These guys should like they appreciate America more than do our own homegrown commiecRATs.

Asad-ullah, now back at home in the eastern Logar Province, says he spent his days watching movies, playing football, and going to class -- where he was fascinated by lessons on the solar system. As for his future, he tells London's Guardian -- "I would like to be a doctor, an engineer, ... or an American soldier." If you can't beat us ..... join us. With luck he will become a christian too.

But he said yesterday he did not resent his captors and Camp Delta was not as bad as rural Afghanistan. These people have the full course of indoctrination vis-a-vis the Yankee imperialist infidel crusader yadda yadda yadda.
All while eating rancid crap we wouldn't feed our goats.
Then they get a glimpse and they're not going back to dirtistan.
It's why Iran just confiscated 40,000 satellite dishes and China just rounded up a bunch of chat room democracy junkies.
Yeah, he could be shucking, but more likely he's just realized he was supposed to die so OBL could live like a prince.
We're hated by the elites in these places because we make it hard for them to keep their plantations staffed.

No, it doesn't seem a bit odd to me.
Given the choice of rural Afghanistan or Gitmo, I'd take Gitmo everytime.
Hell, given the choice of rural Afghanistan or a giant flaming tarpit, I might go the tarpit route.
