So how did a man with mental illness get his hands on guns? The way it works, see, is, for the purposes of obtaining the guns, he was not definitionally mentally ill... but for the purposes of prosecution, he is definitionally mentally ill.
Isn't that a neat trick?

I have a paranoid schizophrenic tenant that I am trying to evict right now. He has decided I am evil and writes letters to me and tapes them to my door. He uses red ink because it signifies blood he says. In the twenty years I have been a property manager, he is the only tenant I have ever been really, really afraid of.Question: Can a person with mental problems be accurate with an rifle?

I'm listening to the incredible story about the offer of pizza by the guy to McCoy in Las Vegas and the man recognizing McCoy..This man really pursues it to convince the authorities. He's a great citizen in my book. I would not be surprised if he were a Freeper. They described him as someone who followed the story closer than most Americans. He did all the right things and was brave, persistent, and thorough.
If he wasn't a Freeper, we should adopt him as a honorary Freeper. Great Freeping job by the citizen ! Activism in action !

Central Ohio can now breathe a collective sigh of relief. The local newspaper had an article about how his former girlfriend said that he had often thought that the FBI was watching out for him. I guess he got what he always thought was coming to him. Maybe in his brain he's thinking that he was right, the FBI was looking for him. Too bad he is the one who made the looking necessary. FWIW, it's said that paranoid schizophrenics often don't want to take the meds they've been prescribed because they think someone is trying to poison them. What a catch-22.

Captured at a Vegas motel. How? Was he driving the same car with the same plates? He used his own name in the registry at the motel he was at! Drove the same car. This guy was not a sophisticated criminal, as they once thought. Glad he is off our streets, though!

When I told my doctor I was paranoid he assured me it was not a mental condition in my case. He said if you have a reason to be paranoid you aren't really paranoid.

"which is in Pennsylvania"... Uhhhhh..Gary Gilmore?

How about that. They release the name, the description of the car, and the license plate number, and the guy, who had eluded capture for months, is nabbed within days. Kind or reminds you of the result once Chief Moose decided to trust the public with real information, instead of speculation about mythical white guys in a white van.
