Eakin's attorney wonders how his client, a 60-pound, 4-foot-7-inch boy could have made an adult decision to kill. I'm not an attorney, but I assume it would be when his client decided to beat the victim over the head with sticks and rocks and stab him at least 34 times.

I've heard the child is autistic as well. And having an autistic son myself, I can tell you they have a hard time interpreting particularly non-verbal cues ie he probably did not even fight back so the kid didn't stand a chance. I fear stuff like this for my own son because even when he and his sister wrestle around, he is likely to let her push him down and wrestle him around without any reaction except laughter. The autistic child probably did not stand a chance because of his impairment and likely delayed reaction to being hurt.

Just looked at the picture of the child killed. Man, he is looks so much like my son, what I would picture him as as a young teen. Wow, if I had access to my pics on this computer, I would show you all. That touches me all the more since this could be my son in 8 yrs. This poor family. They sound like they really were blessed by this child and to have him taken away by a couple of "preteen" losers.

He was a good looking kid for sure.
Us "careprovider" moms are not ones to piss off. :)
