I hope our CIA is giving the riots all the support we can.
It seems to me, if the armed forces of Iran ARE mostly pro American . . . things COULD get very interesting.
Prayer is in order!

People (liberals) ask that if Iraq was a danger, why don't we invade Iran? The answer is simple, Iraq has not ever had a functioning democracy and the peopel had no idea how to do it and were cowed by 30+ years of murder and turture by Saddam.
Iran, on the other hand, had democracy (although a corrupt government) up until 1978 and while people hated the corruption, they enjoyed the freedoms and are now chafing under the mullahs. We don't need to invade Iran. All we have to do is provide material for the inevitible explosion and then support for the emerging government. The Iranians will do it themselves.

What so many people don't seem to understand is different countries require different approaches. And (sad to say) you can find that same attitude here also.
