I never wanted to leave the Free Republic, and would abide with the rules in every way in every respect as I have as Bicycle Thug since I sign up for the account if allowed to stay.

Jim Robinson banned me in March 2000 after some admittedly foul posts made while I was mortally angry at AOL's Steve Chase and company killing my old primary forum of residence.

I never was able to get an answer to any of my E mailings to him to try to make amends and to reestablish myself as an interlocutor here.

This is only an opus in that I finally realized I was being a hypocrite in my series of accounts here, regardless of how unjust the ban, regardless of my intentions.

If he were to allow me to stay, I would. But at this point, it is solely up to him to make that decision.

It is my responsibility to respect his decision if he decides that there is no place at all here for me.

The last thing I ever want to be is a disruptor, and believe it or not, despite my venting of the spleen here, I actually still respect him and know damn well part of this posting is engendered by a build-up of shear rage at not even being given the courtesy of a response as to why I was not welcome.

He is shrewd and smart, and is to be commended for his business savvy and abilities to create Free Republic. I wish him long life and prosperity regardless of my anger, and regardless of the words here expressing my deepest fears.

I am being open and honest here, you are taking this all too seriously. It's a forum, it is not life. There are real people out there that know you and love you. Honestly, sir if you are this upset about a website, you may consider some professional help.

I'm not kidding or making fun of you. Do you have a girlfriend or wife? She loves you more than anyone here. Talk to her, turn off the computer. Another FReeper took this all too seriously and suicided. Don't take it that way. Turn off your computer and see the world.

Did you post from sites after being asked not to?

Did you abide by the wishes of the owner?If you did not you had no right to say you were enraged because you were banned and not answered in your emails.

No one is "owed " a second or third chance.If you are overtaken by sheer rage often,there are classes for that.It's called anger management.(Rage is a reason,not an excuse)
