This report doesn't explain the context of the Georgetown reference. When the rest of the protestors were sleeping on the White House Mall, Kerry was staying at the posh home of a Georgetown socialite. He was a phony then, and a phony now.

So why does this re-emerge in the press now?? The fact that the Kansas City VVAW story is starting to bubble it's way up into the press is why. Running the Nixon angle again effectively allows to press to paint anyone who criticizes Kerry's VVAW actions in an unflattering light.

One of the local sports disk jockies made a statement on his radio show today that there was a BOGUS picture of Kerry with Jane Fonda at an Anti War Rally being circulated on the Internet
