Why would Sean feed the interview to Drudge if he did not think it was totally pro-Bush? Maybe there is some John Kerry smackdown by Mel included in the interview that Drudge has not been told about yet or that he will print in his "developing" story. There is something wierd going on here.

The Weekly Standard had a long article two weeks ago explaining and re-articulating the rationale for the war. One of the things that made it so strong was that the authors let CLINTON administration officials make the case for them. It was eye-opening and a reminder that the perceived threat from Iraq was long-standing, bipartisan, worldwide, and NOT a fabrication of a few neo-cons in think tanks.

Is he an American citizen? He was very smart to wait until he made a nice profit before he publicized his doubts about Bush. I stand by my original comment that has been mischaracterized. LOL MEL GIBSON GOT HIS PAYDAY.

And he's in his 50s, right? So we're talking about culture differences ingrained over 40 years.

Well, if you are a Bush supporter, you're certainly not conservative so that only leaves Republican. I'm quite sure plenty of Kerry supporters have seen this movie, too. I never once said I liked Kerry. I also didn't have the temerity to link this film's success with being a Bush supporter. I'm amazed at how every aspect of life is drawn from the breath Bush breathes for some of you.

And one that has personally met Dubya...have you?
BTW, Mel isn't just an actor, he's a director, producer and father of 8 (??) children, all of whom he's tried to raise in a Christian manner...
He put it all on the line to make the "Passion" - I'd like to see Dubya put it all on the line and rescind the "Emergency War Powers Act" and restore the common law status of the Constitution, something that only one President has attempted since FDR started the nightmare in 1932.
And they assassinated him.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check my homepage.

actually, we don't know what Mel said. Everyone is wrapped around the axle about one little teaser on Drudge.
If he is having doubts what is wrong with that? I think it makes him a better conservatives TO HAVE DOUBTs. We need to question our leaders. I myself have had doubts but look at GWB and I know that a better leader we will not have in the US. I do have doubts about Cheney and hope he is dropped from the ticket.

Exactly my point.

This is Drudge helping out Hannity to pump up ratings for the interview, nothing more.

"Bush SHOULD get on tv, clearly explain that WMD was believed to be there by EVERYONE including Mr Kerry and the former administration." If I hear Pres. Bush getting on TV to try to please the stinking pinko commie liberals in this country on WMD one more time I'm going to puke. I heard him articulate the reasons for war several times and the first time was sufficient for me. When the h*ll are wimpy conservatives going to stop falling for the Delphi Technique? We have nothing to debate with the socialist/liberal/stinking commies. Period! To engage in debate on this is to play on the enemy's field -- and according to their rules.
President Bush, to steal a phrase of the enemy, can't we just move on?

what will be much more amusing to watch is the Cheerleaders who have called Gibson nothing short of God recently now turn on him like rabid dogs. That will be worth the price of admission alone.
Gibson should move to Spain (/sarcasm related to other FR threads from today)

It's just the Hollywood double standard. We're being taken for a ride by our "celebrity", like it or not. And the media enablers are hitting the fast-forward button.
