OK I tell ya what...

As embarrassing as it is to get into a petty blow-by-blow with you, this has become important to me. You have repeatedly accused me of being a liar, among a lot of other slanderous and false accusations.

Jim can read my freepmail, and clear my name, and at this point I am asking him to (I'm sorry, Jim).

If Jim allows you to lie so maliciously about me with impunity, or says I am lying, I will leave Free Republic forever. Otherwise, all I expect is a public acknowledgment that I am not a liar - I don't even ask for your apology.

Slander and false accusations,when this all started when I said that you and I and uglybiker were on the same side and you went after me on that? Okay, I understand now.

You can post whatever it is you please, but it doesn't have to be factual. You can escalate the insults,couched in sort of soothing words;however, when bluntly called on it,all of a sudden you are the "victim". Well, that isn't quite how it works. You lied. I said you lied. You don't like my "tone". Ergo, I should have used a different word. Which would you prefer......perjury( oh no, that's when someone lies under oath),wanton dissembler,perfidious speaker of untruths? Gee.....find one that "sounds" better to the ear and I'll go with it.:-)

You claimed that you've never been in a flame war,on the other thread. Since you started this one, I no longer believe you.
