Toronto, ONT – According to the latest Ipsos-Reid/CTV/Globe and Mail poll released today, three quarters of Canadians (74%, up 3 points from 71% in December 2003) believe that Canada made the right decision by not going to war with Iraq.

"Would the US war in Iraq have been necessary if the UN had lived up to its responsibility to enforce it's own resolutions?"Actually, that's the most terrifying question of all... if the world starts believing that the UN has the authority, responsibility, and the legitimacy to back up its resolutions, you can bet on them quickly focusing that power on their only competitor, the United States. Let them remain a blissfully ignorant paper tiger.
