I just said this on another Sapin thread...
When I heard about how and why Spain voted the way it did, I realized I was watching a nation become more like France. I was really praying Spain could muster up some courage. How sad.
They are like the battered wife who thinks by keeping quiet, they will be safe.

Thanks, I should have recalled recent history more correctly
before posting.

I wonder how soon Spaniards will rue the day they caved to
the murderous thugs. I would bet 6-12 months, but the new guy
might pull a 'Clinton' and label every new act of
terrorism or extortion as just some right-wing-extremists.
