But let's forget about New York City for the moment, and go right to the U.S. government itself. Since this country began fighting this so-called "war on terror," we have seen Congress debate military funding of the effort to no end. But Congress was nearly unanimous in passing a national "Do Not Call" law, and had no problem coughing up $400+ billion for prescription drug coverage for seniors.
Does this sound like a nation at war? Is there any reason for us to be surprised that terrorism now sits at #3 on the list of voters' priorities in this country?
Of course I don't trust you, you failed to back up your baseless assertion that NY City council said that cigarettes were a greater threat than terrorism.
That's why so many of these victims' families have given up their careers and become professional malcontents and semi-professional talking heads instead.
Out of the 2,800 victims families that you mock, about 13 are members of the political group that has become talking heads. September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrow. That same group opposed the Afgan war, and has links to far left SOCIALIST groups, sound familiar? They are reading talking points, which apparently you are as well because your points are so muddled and contradictory that one has to imagine they are held onto from arguement's past.
Does this sound like a nation at war?
It sounds like fringe wings of political groups putting their agenda above the safety of America. That happens from far right wing kooks like yourself as well.
