In quotes picked up by the Boston Herald, the former first lady urged Sen. Kerry to "counterpunch" with his own negative attacks on President Bush.

"That's important because that is the way that you convey the strength to take on this particular network of forces that stand behind the president," she said.

Pay close attention to the logic here. The Dims have criticized President Bush for this same approach to the terrorists, but the head Dim says this is what you have to do to defeat an opponent. Clever, huh?

Counterpunch? That implies that KERRY was hit first by negative ads. If I remember right, he actually threw the first punch, and the second, and the third....
