I know, I know, everyone hates the "OPUS" as it it is often used to do more b!tching and moaning than anything else. No, I have not had threads deleted or posts pulled for bad behavior. I do not believe there is a conspiracy against me. I have nothing bad to say about Mr. Robinson, nor any of the folks here.
My purpose here is merely to say "Bye". It's become clear to me that idealogically I don't synch here anymore, which is too bad because I really liked FreeRepublic (read: wasted WAY too much time here :-)).

Opuses are not mandatory, you know. I once needed to break up with a boyfriend but he wouldn't return ~any~ of my calls....
To: realpatriot71

The thing about Opuses (Opi?) is that you make a very public statement about why you'll never come around here again. It's embarrasing if you ever come back, it's better to just silently quit coming here and you can slink back later and no one will ever know....

What does the '71' stand for?
(Can't be virgins, they only come in a 72 pack).
To: Samwise
Thing is.... I don't think we ever did break up! Crap. ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
