Hill in Hub urges Kerry to fight back

Hillary Clinton yesterday backed Sen. John F. Kerry's branding of Republicans as crooked liars, calling it ``quite descriptive of reality,'' even as she again vowed to turn down the vice presidency.
The New York senator said Kerry is now in the crosshairs of the sane ``vast, right-wing conspiracy'' that came after her husband, and urged Kerry to ``counterpunch.''
``That is a signal that John Kerry [related, bio] is sending, that `if you dish it out I'm going to dish it right back.' That's important because that is the way that you convey the strength to take on this particular network of forces that stand behind the president,'' she said.
Clinton, in a speech and question-and-answer session for National Public Radio, backed Kerry's unguarded comments - made near a microphone at a Chicago rally - about ``crooked'' GOP attackers.
``It's quite descriptive of reality,'' Clinton said to applause from the largely partisan audience at the John F. Kennedy Library, where she received the museum's Distinguished American Award.
The former first lady dismissed questioner Juan Williams' attempts to draw her in to the vice presidential guessing game.
She shook her head at the suggestion, leaving Williams to ask, ``Does that indicate you wouldn't accept it if offered?''
``That is exactly right,'' she said.
Still, much of Clinton's 90-minute appearance had the rousing feel of a campaign rally.
Clinton expanded the GOP-led ``conspiracy'' to a ``vast right-wing media inter-locking network and infrastructure.''
And she lashed out at a ``double standard'' that let Republican Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld get away with keeping a piece of the plane that slammed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
If Rumsfeld were a Democrat, she said, ``You would never hear the end of it.''
The Bush/Cheney campaign said Clinton, like Kerry, is offering voters only anger.
``Sen. Clinton's willingness to embrace Kerry's comments indicates that we can expect more angry, bitter and negative rhetoric from Democrats in an election year,'' said Bush campaign spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt.

No, Kerry's been targeted by the RAS (Republican Attack Squad). The VRWC is still keeping it's attention focused on Hillary and on making sure she never gets near the Oval Office again.

By the way, there is a great picture of Hillary on the Herald web site, but I never learned how to post images so if you want a good laugh you'll have to check it out yourselves.

Groovy John Kerry
already knows how to fight back.
After all, he's acted the role of a rebellious adolescent since the 60's.
He knows he doesn't like the adults in charge, but he can't seem to take responsibility.
He plays the blame game...
Like...Groovy, man.

The definition of "lying" depends on one's perception of reality. Does Bush "lie" when he says that Iraq is better off today than they were on January 1, 2003? Does John Kerry "lie" when he says that that Yes sir, I really WAS a hero in Viet Nam?
The point is, that from different frames of references, what appears to be an immutable truth from one perspective seems to be a black lie from another. The larger problem here is that while one side may agree to at least step over and try to understand the motivations of the other side, the second party shows no willingness to even admit that any other view but their own exists. You cannot be nice to a skunk or a porcupine, because a skunk or a porcupine will continue to be what they are. And they will not change.

Thanks, I have been trying to think what could possibly be going through her empty little head at that moment.
Maybe she just remembered that jfk mistreated women just like her 'husband.' As a feminazi the bust should stick in her craw.

Hillary has long dealt with the Repubicans, and knows their every weakness. After all, she stole their FBI files and they didn't even make a peep.

She's got to be kidding.
If Hillary got hold of a piece of the plane that hit the Pentagon she'd sell it to the highest bidder on E-Bay.

Her talking about if it was a Demonrat, we'd never hear the end of it??? We heard little about the trashing of the White House and Slick and Slime stealing items from it, and futhermore, Secretary Rumsfeld stated that he did not take that piece for himself........hell's bell's, it's right there on his desk for all the world to see, as a reminder of what took place on that fateful day and I'm all for it!
