Do you really think the media gives a flip about US?

I'm so proud of you and Ecurbh! Please email the picture you want sent and I'll forward them on to the chaplain! Send me some of the whole group too, so he can get an idea of the scope of the rally.

Way to go, guys!

Znix - Maybe next time! I purposely went covert and stood accross the street from the pier. There was a commie or two who would have recognized me from past OSOT rallies when they infiltrated our group. I recognized two such commies and a couple of Lydon Losers at the pier. If I were in a group of at least three conservatives then I would have considered taking a stand. With a small group on my side then there would be practical witnesses if the commies actually assaulted one of us. Heck, let the video camera role to document and perhaps convict the slime...they want to be jailed anyway.

Sorry to hear you were spit on. I witnessed a confrontation between a family and the protesters. The family was getting back into their car parked along the street across from the anti-war protest. I actually caught some of it on video, when the protesters became aggressive with the family. I remember seeing the young children getting in and a couple of protesters shoving signs up near the car windows and then a "lady" using both hands to flip off those in the car. Typical hatred for any opposition...since they seem to think free speech must only apply to liberals.

For reference, here is my after-action report that I previously posted on our locale:

OSOT 3/20 was a Glorious day indeed! At least until Noon when I left outpost 122. I headed down to 'outfall pier 61/62' to experience the 'anti-war' sludge. There, the communists were handing out the manifesto and Lyndon losers where distributing their propaganda as is typical. The 'circus of communists' marched from '1st Acivist Church of Judas Priest' (Formerly 1st Baptist Church of Seattle ;) and brought their war protest to the pier where their misery loved the company.

Their Featured speaker Ed ASS-ner and a host of other nut cases spoke trash about our president. I had to bite my tongue when they hurled insults at conservative values and called themselves the patriots! After all I found myself in the 'belly of the beast' and knew it was not de time nor de place. Three protesters were arrested and that was announced. And ASS-ner put everyone on notice that there will be a time when all of them would get to defy authority when their will certainly be a communist revolution right here. What is really amazing to me is this event was sponsored by "churches".

NION posted this: "Local actions called by The Church Council of Greater Seattle... What kind of a "church" do these people affiliate with. Sounds more like liberals have infiltrated the church to minimize the gospel and form a new age of social-political enlightenment. Could this be in violation of church and state? (That being the state has no business in Church business) Using a church to push politics is wrong in my book. Its no wonder our culture has been so deprived...and become so depraved.

These anti-war folks are so misguided...but at least we (FReepers) can take comfort that they are the fringe, and hardly represent a significant sliver of America.

I was wise enough to temporarily remove a political sign from my rear window while parked right next to the war protest rally. I'm sure some would have retaliated as vandals do. My sign reads: Most Anti-War Protesters ARE Political NOT Patriotic. The small print reads: Since Liberal Democrats, like Kerry, push for U.N. (Socialistic) world control to override our President and undermine U.S. sovereignty. By Coincidence they brought up the exact topic that my sign highlighted, patriotism. One speaker mentioned how they are the real 'patriots'. Man, if they only knew how perverted that sounded. I review my video recording to get an exact quote if anyone is interested.

BTW - Back at outpost 122, I had the honor to speak with Kirby and Rusty.

Drango, I appreciate that. See my comments to Znix on posting 124.

BTW - I actually pity those anti-war folks, they seem so unhappy and angry. Their life is minimized to union worship and belief that politics will set them free...and they will fight for all that is regressive. Their rally mantra was, "A people united can never be defeated". Translation: Socialism/Communism must be their "Savior". How perverted is that?!
