Before and after young John F. Kennedy, Jr.'s death, his magazine, George, was a topic of speculation as to whether or not it would survive. A general impression was that JFK, Jr. was attempting to establish a legitimate business venture with the magazine, above the "business" heritage and other antics of the older Kennedy tribe.

Then Hillary wished to be Senatrix from the State of New York, and JFK, Jr.'s ally and chief venture capitalist in the magazine, David Pecker, was "helped" away from his top executive position at Hachette-Filipacchi (Wi-Sp '99), that was the source of operating capital for the magazine; "helped" by two people beholden to the Clintons:

Austin Beutner, President and CEO of the Fund for Large Enterprises in Russia ("FLER", an agency of the U.S. Government under the Clinton Administration) --- and a co-founder / partner of Evercore Partners, and

Roger C. Altman, a former-U.S. Deputy Secretary Treasurer in the Clinton Administration --- and a co-founder / partner of Evercore Partners.

With the loss of David Pecker's support, JFK, Jr. was left scrambling to save his business reputation, his dream, in the wake of the Clintons' larger ambitions related to why New York became their new home --- it is the seat of their developing wealth, within a structure that is a web "worthy" of Hillary's "achievements" at the Rose Law Firm: Evercore Partners, where Al Gore's aid, William Daley went to, after the Florida fiasco in the year 2000 elections.

David Pecker became the head of Evercore's American Media, Inc. that owns various "pulp / rags" such as the National Enquirer and the Star. Not exactly a move up, in terms of his career, but with "the rug pulled out from under" JFK, Jr., a definite move up for Hillary.

Alamo-Girl, it was on this topic, that I first corresponded with you back in 1999, and it was also why I then began to take an interest in joining what was once a great forum, Free Republic.

A few weeks ago I heard a radio commentator (conservative) talking about Hillary C. [I don't remember which radio commentator it was.]

He said that Mary Landreu (D-LA) was in trouble for reelection. She contacted the Clintons for help. Bill 'picked up the phone and made several calls on her behalf.' Partially as a result of those calls, Landreu won her Senate seat back.

Hillary also won her Senate seat that year.

The payoff - Landreu gave up her Senate seat on a powerful Senate committee [the commentator didn't say which committee] to Hillary.

.

...Why was Friend of HILLARY ..DAVID PECKER and his American Media, Inc Florida Office the 1st target on our soil to be anthraxed after the Attacks of Sept. 11th..?

...And why did LARRY KING mysteriously grill DAVID PECKER so unmercifully on his TV Talk Show shortly afterward..?

...As I have been sharing here ever since THE WEEK THAT WAS the Death of JFK Jr. ...

...it was reported by the end of that same week that JFK Jr. had cemented a deal from a Canadian Buyer for his GEORGE Magazine. This new deal included a possible 5 Days a Week TV show like 'HARD COPY' commencing by Sept. 1999 that would have had JFK Jr.
co-hosting and interviewing famous people like JANET RENO, hard questions and all.

Danger, Will Robinson, Danger..?
