"This Just In" Starts Sunday (New conservative cartoon show)
Spike TV ^
Posted on 03/14/2004 2:28:44 PM PST by GulliverSwift
A new TV show about a conservative columnist will be repeating today (3/14/04). Its first episode (about Ted Kennedy) ran on Friday but I missed it and so did a lot of freepers. If it's any good, expect it to come under fire from the Hollyweird leftists. If we're lucky, maybe we'll get something as good as "South Park."

Never heard of the "Spike" channel. Is it on Dish Network?

Used to be known as TNN.

Mate, you should watch a few episodes of South Park... it will completely erase any impression that they are liberals.

Spike channel is formerly known as TNN. Has wrestling, Star Trek, etc. Right now, at 5 p.m. Central, they have a WWE show, with a Cheech and Chong movie on later tonight, if that's helpful.

watched it alot. I even have 2 dvds of south park but I know they are libs man. Even though they make fun of "libs" more than "cons" doesn't mean they aren't libs.
To: GreatOne
Thanks.

Welcome, yeah, but his confusion about South Park is a little strange, no?

This might answer the question from a chat on the South Park Studios website:
fuge: are you two guys liberal or conservative? me and my freinds have had debates about this.
Trey: We avoid extremes but we hate liberals more than conservatives and we hate them.
Matt: I hate conservatives but I really f---ing hate liberals.

They tore a new hole for Archie Bunker's Meathead -- suggesting he would kill a child just to make an anti-smoking point.

On the scale of strange I've seen, even here, this hardly registers.
South Park is simply anti-establishment. Anyone who has an investment in the establishment, left or right, will be offended at some point.

You left out XMC - how dare you! "Right you are, Kenny."
To: thoughtomator
Hmmmm, maybe. But as a general rule, South Park is staunchly against liberal nonsense, and strongly expressing conservative logic. I find it hard to believe that anyone who has actually seen it can't get that.

That's very correct. The only time they make fun of religion or conservatism is when people go to far or don't enforce their principles, such as when they ridicule the Catholic church for not kicking out homosexual molesters.
They've even run an episode which enacted a modern-day version of Job with Kyle in the starring role.
